English language training:

INPRESA offers extensive and intensive, individual and group language training in Business English at all levels. Training can take place in the classroom, on the telephone, online or by video-conferencing according to clients needs.

Our language training is based on INPRESA’s ‘De-italianization’ method.

Many Italian professionals who already speak English well enough to ‘get by’ (cavarsela) are acutely aware of still ‘sounding Italian’ when using certain phrases and structures.

For example: the phrase ‘è difficile che accettino’ is usually translated by the majority of Italians as ‘it’s difficult they they will accept’. This form does not exist in the English language and could cause misunderstanding in a business conversation because the English word ‘difficult’ never means ‘improbable’ as it does in the Italian phrase ‘e’difficile che...’

Our De-italianization course is the result of many years of study. It is designed to introduce Italian professionals to the most important areas of the English language which need to be ‘de-italianized’. This is essential because any breakdown in conversation due to language ambiguity reduces the effectiveness of communication and wastes time.

This method can be used at all levels except ‘beginners’ where the Italianization process has not yet begun!
